Navigation, Communication, entertainment, oceanographic and Combat systems all have specific requirements  and constraints : The Systems department is dedicated to ensure that all these requirements are satisfied from preliminary project design up to trials and customer support.

ElectroMagnetic Interference and Compatibility (EMI/EMC) and hazards of electromagnetic radiation to fuels (HERF), to ordnance (HERO), to personnel (HERP) and to equipment (HERE) studies are conducted thanks to a powerful and recognized modelling and simulation software suite: Ship EDF (Ship Electromagnetic Design Framework). CMN is the only shipyard to have invested in the full software package version related to electromagnetic issues. All EM aspects can be modelled from initial design phase in view of optimizing all parameters in accordance with the customer requirements: antenna ranges, ship’s Radar Cross Section (RCS).
